Anybody cut styrofoam with a tablesaw?

i would think a tablesaw would leave tiny sawdust sized particles everywhere.

heating something up would be best. and every1 owns a few soddering irons, OR a car battery and a metal clothes hanger.

I have cut styro many times using a table saw at work, It works well but makes a huge stinky mess and if youre not guiding the peice perfectly strait it binds in the blade causing very bad crooked cuts. I like using the saw when you need alot of rips cut but for just a few I use a strait edge and a sharp razor knife and cut partway thru and snap the peice off.

A utility knife works as well as a table saw. I have cut at work a few times with no problem what so ever at work. We have a industrial size table saw and it is hooked up to a dust collector and it worked fine with very little mess with a dust collector. The more teeth you have on your saw blade the better job it will do.
