Just got a chinese banded hi-fin from the LFS to live in my cool water 90. Yes i know he could hit three feet but he's a slow grower, (1-2 in per year). I am wondering if anyone here has had any personel experience with keeping them. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

I know a few things one these. 1st more reports I have read on them say that they are a schooling fish and do much better in groups. They will eat allot of different foods but seem to prefer vegetarian foods like goldfish do. They are found in fast moving river systems ( Yangtze river I believe) and seem to appreciate the current. They are also are and endangered species and are not breed in captivity.
