anybody here making his own anti chlorine?
how much sodium thiosulfate is needed to make 1 gallon anti chlorine solutiion?
also how much is safe for fish?

thanks

I would be cautious about using too much. I don't know the exact toxic dosage, but it certainly can have detrimental effects. Also, Sodium Thiosulfate is a reducing agent, which means it will lower the redox potential of your tank. That can lead to some funky chemical reactions going on, as well as oxygen depletion, so be careful. The risks probably dont justify the cost savings unless you are absolutely penniless and are treating thousands of gallons at a time. And the two would not seem to go hand in hand...
