Anyone else "on the edge"?

Same thing happened to a friend of ours. To get by between jobs he put adds up on CL for yard work/landscaping/dog walking/whatever. Actually did pretty well.
And it's that time of year when everyone is ripping up dead plants and landscaping for summer.

Honestly, if this were to happen with me, the fish and tanks would be one of the first things to go.
They are a constant drain on cash because the filters and heaters have to run 24/7.
They aren't like a dog or cat, they don't usually get attached to their owner, so I find it easier to give one of them up than a furry.

Good luck with whatever you do :)

Checked out www.monster.com ?
I know of quite a few people who used that with success.

My boyfriend and I are in the same boat so I understand. I'm in grad school until next December but he's out this May. He's been applying for jobs since before Christmas but he's been turned down from every single one (over 100 jobs) without ever getting an interview. Most say they decided not to fill to position. Its really bad because he has no job experience and no one is hiring entry level jobs. Also, those people who would normally be retiring, aren't. So the natural progression of people upwards isn't happening.

Good luck with the search. I feel for you.

Zig , ya there ?????????? Still with us ???????? Hang in there big guy. I go to work every day except fri and sun. It is a chore just to get through the day because it's SO slow most of the time. I am always so stressed thinking about just how bad it's getting, when my work might come to an end. My line of work ???? Automotive Aftermarket :(
