Hello, Im in search for a filter for my Paludarium but im not sure what to get. I considered a Sponge filter but figured there may be some better options out there.

THIS is the filter in question. It looks good, its the perfect size and only costs $13 shipped!

Is this a good deal or no? I know it looks like some cheap china made stuff but I do love my SUNSUN cansiter :confused:

If it helps at all, they're also sold as Ovation filters here, though they're probably more expensive than that auction.

What size tank is it? I'd probably recommend a Tom Rapids Mini Canister or other small canister filter.

If you're using gravel, you could also do a reverse undergravel...depending on how much water you're filtering. A power sponge filter could also work well: http://www.americanaquariumproducts.com/sponge_filtration.html

I've never done a palu, but did research it quite a bit for a few months...good luck to you :)
 
I have the petsmart version of that filter and it sucks! It clogs very easily and pumps water very slowly. It worked great for about a week and a half but now the water just dribbles out. IMO don't get it.
 
No room for an HOB on this tank. thats why i need an Internal.

I was also thinking I could just use THIS. Looks like it could get the job done since theres only gonna be like, 3-5g in the water section.
