I bought a Mag drive 950 pump today (950 GPH), to do a closed loop for extra circulation in my tank.

Now im not gona be using any fancy PVC piping. Just flex piping. Cheaper on the wallet.

I need to know exactly what i need. From fitting, to pipe, to what ever. Now id like to have some easy connnection on the pump from flex pipes so i can remove the pump easily for cleaning.

Diagrams would be great, but a list of parts would work just as well!!

Here's one I made for an old tank. I have to run, but will explain more tomorrow.

Im trying to avoid using PVC piping though, to save some money in costs.

Im looking for the name of that parts for the set-up i posted. It basically uses flex piping (cheaper) rather then PVC.

Thanks anyways guys!!

*Boggle* PVC is very cheap, like 20 feet of 1" is like 3-4 bucks and fittings are only like 30-60 cents. Not only that but you dont get algae growing in PVC. Just shedding light.

For the small tank I showed above, I used black flexible tubing. It was a little easier to use in a small space than PVC. In general, I prefer working with PVC, though.
