anyone have anythign against hex tanks?

but the fish grow to the size of the tank...so you get hex shaped fish no ??

I personally don't like the hex tank, and a retangular tank would be my choice. I was given a 30 gallon hex tank and i'm going to get a cheap heater and filter and use it as a hospital tank only. Or am I? (Seahorses you say...very interesting...research time again)

oh definately! then again i have no experience in saltwater WHATSOEVER. Just looked like they fit perfectly. I think they had about 5 or 6 in the tank. They move soo incredibly slow, and are tall as well, so i think the tank fits them well.

I have a 5 g hex Eclipse for my betta at work. I don't like the odd viewing angles. You see different views when you look in the different panels. I won't buy another hex.

Personally I hate them, too many lines that obstruct/distort the view.

I had a 10G hex tank and it definitely restricts you in every way. I found with the poitioning all your equipment inside the tank it made it look very congested. Maybe cause it was a 10G, but i definitely prefer a standard rectangular.:grinyes:
