Anyone here speak another language besides english???

I work with Japanese in an academic context--that is, I can read articles and books. If I have my dictionary, I can translate it and be very accurate (although it might take me a while).
But, most of the time, I can't pronounce what I'm reading. And, as for conversational speaking, I'm totally lousy. I can order food, that's about it.
I can also kinda sorta read German, but I'd need to brush up on my grammar if I wanted to translate anything.

Woah! This is amazing!!! Anyone else here speak POLISH???

English, Spanish, Latin, and working on Mandarin.

Absolutely love languages... If I could learn any language though it would be Gaelic... it is so pretty...

English, legalese, French, German, enough Spanish to negotiate Taco Bueno and enough Italian to tell someone to go "****" him/herself. I also speak cat and dog pretty well. Working on finspeak.

I can speak a fair bit of German although I've forgotten most of it. A tiny amount of French. The odd word in Hungarian - although don't ask me to write anything in Hungarian as the spelling is very odd (My Anyu is Hungariaun).

Other than that I know quite a few languages fluently. VB, C#, C++, Java, SQL... ummm... wrong types of languages.

me just english,
but my hubby speaks Croatian, when he when to kindergarden he could barely speak english,. lived with grandparents who only spoke croatian, dad spoke both, but for respect they spoke elders way,..

AHHH Hungarian rocks!!!

English and some minor Korean (grew up in a Korean-speaking household but never really paid attention in Korean class). My parents and my grandma try to get me to talk in Korean to them when we talk on the phone. Very little Spanish (book-learning and some Puerto-rican phrases).
