Anyone in southern Maryland?

Im in Germantown and I go to Tropical Fish World in Gaitherburg or Congressional in Rockville.

Their is another on Bladensburg Road at 34th Street Next to Shoppers and another shop on Old Rhode Island Ave in Riverdale Park. Also Genesis Pets on Central ave. Tropical Lagoon in Silver Spring and their is another Shop behind teh Dunkin Doughnuts at Georgia and Reedie Dr at the far end of the strip.

The one behind Dunkin Doughtnuts is Showcase, in Wheaton.

Don't know anything about the one on Bladensburg, or Genesis Pets. Could you provide any more information?

For the OP, both Showcase and Tropical Lagoon often have GBRs.

I almost went to Tropical Lagoon yesterday on my way home from Bethesda and kinda wish I had but I guess I'll have to wait until next Sunday.

I don't know of any LFS in Southern Maryland. There is a fish breeder who is a member of Potomac Valley Aquarium Society. Here is his website: http://aquaticlifefarm.com/web_pages/alf_product_list.html

Also this Sunday is the catfish convention auction in Fairfax.

Tropical Fish World in Gaitherburg is OK. Bought 5 Haraldschultzi and they are doing great.

Is Tropical Lagoon worth a visit? Silver Spring is closer to my home than Glen Burnie (I live in Clarksville). Any other decent FS's in Silver Spring?

if you can take 28 towards Rockville it should put you close to Aquarium One on Rockville Pike, I havent been there but not too far south on Rockville Pike is Congressional Aquarium and they are pretty nice
