I'm just curious if any insane aquarium people are into any of the same music as I am. :) If not, I totally recommend these:

Sufjan Stevens
Animal Collective
The National
Jens Lekman
Menomena
The Magnetic Fields
Bon Iver
Andrew Bird
Mouse on Mars

etc etc...

Nobody is too old, you just gotta keep up! metacritic.com is a good start for finding new good music. Last.fm helps a ton too. ;)

Your coach_z username gives you some brownie points though. :headbang2:

....i just had a thought, have you even heard of hot rod circuit or saves the day? that will make me feel old too.....
 
Awwww dang. I'm only finding people who don't like my taste as opposed to people who do, LOL.
 
Reviving this thread...

I just got back from a Bloc Party/Menomena concert! Bloc Party has really fallen off the ball since Silent Alarm though. :( And amazingly, Menomena sort of disappointed! They were a bit off sync and just didn't expand enough on their songs. Nevertheless, I still enjoyed Menomena's songs over Bloc Party's... but Bloc Party had a better stage presence.

A bit ago, I saw Animal Collective and that was most amazing show of my life. :D
