Anyone keep snowflake morays?

I inherited a pencil sized snowflake from a friend who was moving. In two years time that eel grew to over two feet long! If you have crabs and shrimp in your tank, they won't be there long once the eel arrives. Mine would wrap himself up in a maze of coral during the day, and came out as soon as the lights were off. He was blind as a bat, but could sense movement and had a great nose. I point fed mine chunks of scallop and prawn.

They're beautiful to behold when they're out and about.

i have a snowflake, a zebra, and a peppered moray, had them for a few years now, and yes the snowflake has grown at a amazing rate, mine are fine with the fish i have in with them, the only trouble they cause is if the fish (two damsels) try and grab the food before he does, then he chases them away, and they love to dig, he has once dig under a rock that moved and crushed him, but luckily after a month of looking like he wanted to die, he came good again.
also be prepared to be "greeted" at the to of the tank when it comes time for feeding, mine even used to stick his head out the water to get to the prawns when he was hungry.
they are a awesome pet, and i cant imagine not having eels in my tanks now, just means you gotta take a few extra precautions, but its well worth it!
