I was wondering if anyone kept these.

I've seen web descriptions from non-aggressive to aggressive, it seems like they are at least mildly aggressive (with mildly being a relative term). I've always thought African cichlids were very aggressive, so I was wondering about their compatibility with my Apistogramma cacatoides or fancy guppies (I may have to reorganize my tank for these guys).

Anyone from AC forums selling them? It would be great to find a local NYC area seller, but that would probably be asking too much.

A "relatively peaceful" Haplochromine like Xystichromis is way too agressive for Guppys and Apistos. Xystichromis should be maintained in a harem of a bunch of females and 1 male, maybe 2 if the tank's big enough. http://www.davesfish.com/

I know of someone on Long Island that has them. I think it might be somewhere like deer park. It's called The Rare Side and the guy who owns the place is called Tony. You can look it up on online.
Personally, the fulu should be kept in breeding groups too because they are nearly if not completely extinct in the wild. That's what I've heard anyway.

These are species only fish relatively aggressive towards own kind and others, I am no expert on Victorian but I would not keep them with Apisto's or Guppies..
