Anyone Like SOAD?

The older stuff is good, but the new stuff sucks.
I listen to alot of the underground metal/hardcore now
like suffokate and job for a cowboy, SOAD just sold out.
kinda makes me angry at all the sell outs that used to be so awesome, changing their style to get people to play/buy their music.


Anything before the mez/hypnotize cds is good,but the new cds arnt really worth the time.

Well, their first few albums were good, really good. About a year ago they started to go mainstream, as of several months ago with the release of hypnotize, they just lost it and went mainstream entirely. As of a few months ago, they decided to go on hiatus for a few years.

I like them better during the "Chop Suey" days. But I still like the guitars and beat though. c:

I like them but word has been going around that after they are done with Oz Fest they are breaking up.
