Anyone Need Riccia?

Oh, OK. The link that I posted was the original riccia weight invented by Birgit and Wolfgang. I think that was first released to the public about two to three years ago. They were planning to start a website and sell them. I think they even bought the domain name (www.ricciaweight.com) but never built the website. It is a great idea and ever since then people have been coming up with different versions. The latest version that I’ve seen is two layers of heavy duty wire mesh which the riccia is sandwiched between. It is a interesting concept but I think I’ll try the riccia weight first since it seems to work very well.

I've been really satisfied just using hairnets and slate or rounded rocks.

IMO, yes......almost double the cost of shipping to any of the states. And it takes almost twice the time to get there.
Ridiculous.

I would love to try ricca in my 5 gallon tank which just has a few ghosts in it once I get a light going on the hood. Looking for parts for a flourscent tube lamp in asheville NC

i have a flourescent light on my tanks and if that is all that is needed to grow ricca then i will take some, also tell me if any of my fish will eat them.
