I placed a order with a online plant company.
I wanted some really nice plants to finish stocking my tank, what I got was a bunch of curved leaves that are so deformed I can't do anything with them.
Would you be happy with this? I'm not happy at all and I want your opinion on this. I expected nice straight stems I could plant to make my tank look nice..

many of the stem plants can be trimmed and replanted.
use as cuttings.

The thing is is that I paid for plants, not clippings.. I could have got clipping from anyone, I ordered from a larger company figuring I would get nice full plants.. :headshake2:

They're curved because they were probably trying to reach towards the light. If you plant them under the light, they'll straighten out again. Or, as mentioned above, just trim it. Can't really blame the company for a plant that wants to curve to reach the light...?

I understand your frustration when your expectations aren't meet, but this is a cup half full or half empty question.

I agree with Yadokari those plants can easily recover in your tank if the right conditions are met, but I would also be upset if I was paying a premium and this was the best I got.

they actually don't look bad. unless you paid for 'potted' plants .

If you paid enough for potted plants.. then I would probably feel the same as you do.
more often you get clippings that are bundled. these would usually need to be cut and replanted .(SOP)

all the plants at my lps look like that. it's because they did not have them planted nicely while they were growing. i'd be disapointed too but you can fix it. if it's bothering you too much leave a negative feedback on their site if you can.
