Anyone use PolyFilter...?

I have a heavily stocked FO....so I am constanly battling microalgae.

I am currently running PhosBan and it is working wonders on my phosphate...but I was also thinking about using PolyFilter as well...

Anyone use this stuff? If so, do you like it and does it really work?

It works great will take everything out of your water. I dont use it anymore but have you wont be disappointed but it does cost a pretty penny.

I've used a poly filter before, but I don't know that it helps a lot with batteling algea. I thought it was primarily for removing heavy metals and other impuritys from the tank.

I used it on my quaranten (wow I spelled that wrong) tank after every copper treatment I've done and it seems to work very well.

They remove everything. Phosphates and all so yeah they would battle algae.

Great....I will look into getting some...they sell it fairly cheap on Marine Depot's site as well.

Thats good to know I will have to go check it out on there. My LFS charges 65 for the 12"X12" piece.

You know what...my LFS charges about $90 for that same size, which kills me because MD charges under $10 for the smaller size...granted it is not 12x12, but I would rather but a few smaller sizes and save some $$$!
