Anyone used acriflavine?

I've just used Acriflavine to treat my fungused turtles per a turtle recommendation from youtube. My water has gone crazy green - I assume from something copper in the mixture. How long before I should start doing water changes to lessen the effects of the medication?

Is the medication going to hurt my apple snails?

I did use acriflavine a few years back along with everything but the kitchen sink when it appeared my new imported discus brought some unknown illness into the house that affected all my domestic discus. Fish symptoms were very similar to what you will find on the internet described as discus plague. I noted the fish improved most once acriflavine was added. During treatment I kept the tank lights off during the day and very dimly lit at night for a few hours and I think this helped to also avoid any staining of the silicone. I was also changing 75% of the water every day for a month.
I have turtles that are being treated for shell rot due to fungus. Acriflavine was recommended to me so I tried it. No warning that my tank would go radioactive green! It's killing my plants in 24 hrs so I've pulled most of them from the tank.

I'm now doing a 75% water change to try & dilute it. There's no instructions on the bottle on how long to keep using the product.

My silicone is black so I'm not concerned about staining it. I'm more worried about damage I might be doing to other critters in the tank that don't have fungal issues. i.e. 3 bronze corydoras, 2 dwarf neon rainbows & 5 apple snails.

I have a 75 gallon tank
running a 110 aquaclear and a 206 fluval
2 heaters

Any advice you can give about this acriflavine is much appreciated.
