Anyone using moon lights? Pics?

oh yeah...got my disco lights up...sorry no pics; they don't show up all with my crummy camera...but let me assure you they look cool.
I got a Marina Hub with 3 Marina LED submersible units; they are fine for my size tank (16 inches high) and would do fine for yours too...nice thing, you put in the plug unit, you can buy different colours pretty cheaply and change it up to your current tacky fancy
I jest but my better half thinks they are tacky.
I think you are correct in them having no particular benefits in FW...they do however turn a big tank when the lights gone off into a tacky disco lit partytastic lightshow !

It's toward the end of that post. The lights are close to that. I opened up the aperture really wide to get a lot of light. It just looks cool.

Or if you want to save a little bit of money, wait till I get my DIY page together and make some yourself.

I have the same and I like it. I only have one, but I need two more for the length of the tank.
Ugh...I wish I had good pics of mine, but they are garbage...but trust me, whatever you do, moonlights look awesome!
The benefit to moonlights on FW is to see your fish at night 
. Especially those with nocturnal fish that you dont see a lot during the daytime.
I just setup a cold cathode moonlight and love it. Way easier to implement than my DIY LED one was, cheaper, and better outcome. No pics yet though.
