If anyone works at PetsMart or some place that's pretty popular, reply. We've been having problems with Oscars getting beat up and they're all pretty much the same size. I don't know, if you got any input on that subject, post, but you if you work at some kind of fish store tell some stories.

We also have that problem with our Oscars as well...I believe it is from them being too crowded in a too-small tank. They just are always on edge with each other and constantly bickering and picking at everyone else in the tank. Lately we've been able to spread them out a bit more since the newest shipment was of really tiny babies, less than 2" long. See if you can convince your manager to move some of them into other tanks, it might help.

Not sure I understand the question. Do you want a solution for why the oscars are fighting? Or do you want to know if anyone works at petsmart?
both questions... but i told my managers, but our tanks stocked, even the sick tanks. We only seperated the albinos because they were 2" and the other one's were 4", so we definitely had to seperate them.
Uh, I don't think I understand your response. I meant we put one oscar in with the Texas cichlids, a small one with the convicts, the REALLY little ones with the blood parrots, another small one with the green terrors, one with the severums, etc. We spread them out in that way and it helped some.
