Anything wrong with Jebo PC lighting?

I bought the jebco light for 80 plus shipping off of ebay. My unit never gets more than warm and i have noticed rooting now. I dont turn on the blue light so im only using the white that came with it. So im using 10k Its bright and cheap,

i will replace the bulbs as soon as i figure out what to buy. so many types of lights.the other "blue" light is only 55 watts. both are jebo bulbs
can anyone help? what US product do i buy to replace the bulbs i have now?

but if your broke and need a deal, for under 100 dollars you cant beat it.. or atleast i couldnt.

I've got my jebo running, I bought 4 new 10,000k bulbs for 120.00 Canadian including shipping. My total cost is 260.00 Canadian. And now I have 2 spare bulbs to boot. With my 40 watt fluroscent I have 260 watt total. I am happy.

Ummm one dollar per watt? :p

Well, im glad your happy! I didnt see any reason not too go with the coralife for an extra 70 bucks, because i was also getting back 60 back for my old light. So really the coralife only cost me 270 total canadian and gave me more output at 260 watts with 4, 65 watt bulbs which were included, and not too mention bulit in fans, but hey if your happy, thats all that matters........

Who knows, i may get my coralife and turn out to be a miserable grouch :D

I agree that the Jebo fixture is worth the money. I have measured the surface temp. of the housing w/ a infrared thermometer, and the highest it has been was 105 F. I am thinking of getting a small fan from radio shack and seeing if I cant get it in there. There looks to be plenty of room, and judging from the responses, the only down side to the jebo is the one blue bulb(that is 7100 K, and is only dyed blue, not a true actinic), and there is no fan.

I have the money to be throwing at expensive fixtures. I'm just frugal. I didn't see why, if jebo can sell theirs for $49 US(24" 2 x 55 Watt), and the closest one is about $100 + What is the extra $50 + for? A fan? It doesn't make sense to me, but to all their own. My plants love the light, it looks good on my tank, it works fine. I'm happy with it.

Apparently, no there is no fan. Mine gets warm to touch, but I notice my water temp is a steady 78 degrees, and also, the thermometers do come on when the unit has been running, even for several hours. There are 'heat retaining rubber bands' that I think have to be replaced eventually, but not sure when......

I ended up ordering the coralife 4x65 with moonlights three cords and two fans for $211 at big Als. That is one supper deal. I also ordered 2 65 6700 k to repace the actinics.
