Apistogramma Cacatuoides does anyone keep them

I have kept them, and if you are wanting to breed them,1 male to 2 or 3 females is the way to go.I kept 1 male with 1 female in a 30g with Angels,Cories,Otos, and a Clown Pleco. They did very well for me and were very active. They can be picky eaters, mine would only eat frozen food.Just a warning, all Apistos can carry the Iridovirus.I believe that is what killed mine. They were fine, then one day did not eat,and the next day both were dead.Just something to think about before you make your final decision. Here are some pics of mine.May they R.I.P.

Mine are youngsters - not quite 1.5". Hope when they grow out they're as nice as yours were.

I'm looking at getting these for my 27g. What I have researched says 20g minimum and 1male/3-4 females
My tank currently has 4 pygmy corys and 7 platies. I will probably get rid of the platies, add 4 more corys and get a small school of tetras to go with them.

Found a lot of good info here http://fish.mongabay.com/apistogramma.htm
