Apistogramma Viejita

Ended up with a pair of Apistogramma Viejita, nice looking pair, will get pictures after they settle down, anyone has them?

True Viejita are pretty rare in the hobby. Most fish sold as them are acually Macmasteri.

Still a very pretty fish.

*** Monte said true Viejita Apisto are hard to come around by but if you do have a true pair congrats! Would love to see some pics!

Anyone notice the sudden surge of uncommon dwarfs in the hobby lately?

I would love to take some pics also, but they are still not coming up to the front of the tank. My pair of angels are spawning every other week and they keep the rest of the tank in check. I am getting more plants to provide cover.

I will try to take some pictures ASAP.

Well here are the pics

Here are the pics they are in a community tank, chances on fry are slim, I did have a pair off apistos that did manage to keep the fry a live.
As you can see the male is in full cover, and I think they picked the spot out.
I paid $30 for the pair.

By the way also including the pics of my angel pair, as you can see they are busy with their new batch of eggs and keeping all the other fish away.
