apple eggs started to hatch

i will have the pick of the best coloured 1's and sell the others like i do my ramshorn snails.

cant wait till they get bigger to see the colours as the daddy was a purple stripped and mommy was a golden apple.

i am beginning to think my clutch may not be viable, its darkened in spots but does not have that "moldy" look and its been 15 days...cross your fingers for me!

fingers toes and anything else possible ile keep crossed for you. as you know already it could take upto 3 weeks for the little fellows to hatch.

this was my 3rd clutch and the 1st to hatch with many fellows. the 1st two clutches i had either dried out or wernt that viable as i only gain 2 golden out of the 2nd clutch.

i have 1 more clutch left to hatch for now any ways.

good luck and just be patient. hard to be i know but all the same.

my second clutch of eggs have started to hatch. layed on the 6th jan exactly 10 days ago.

the funny thing is that mine just laid eggs for the first time-- i certainly wasn't expecting anything and was sort of surprised when i saw it. well, that's not the funny thing. what is funny is that they're going to drop into a tank full of platy fry that i'm growing up-- so soon i'll have ~30 platy babies in with 30(?) snail babies?

so i should take the eggs and grow them separately, or just leave it hanging? it's on the inside of the hood, hanging over the water. sort of pinkish at the moment...
