I can't remember, but is there any option in the making where you can make it sort by latin name instead? Some are just easier to find that way especially if they have a bazillion different common names.
Yes, this option exist already, just click on "Sort by Scientific Name".I can't remember, but is there any option in the making where you can make it sort by latin name instead? Some are just easier to find that way especially if they have a bazillion different common names.
Also it's not happy that I'm keeping my mbuna in groups smaller than 5 The tank is really peaceful though. Anyway as always a fun program to play with!Warning: Water temperature requirements are not fully compatible between all selected species.

I'm thinking about it, but I just don't have enough time at the moment.I'm liking this calculator more and more. I always try to think of fish bioload in percentage, it it comes out pretty close when I put it up. Pretty awesome! Could there be a mobile version? (iphone and all?)
Looks like I have to revisit the temp requirement for Afra.I love the sort by scientific name option!
Just played with it a bit again and it's still saying my temp requirements are off. I keep mbuna with some dwarf petricola. I feel the mbuna temperatures should match up pretty well.

i was just speaking generally, like whether or not that species will destroy plants, will live fine with plants, or will live with some. maybe when you see the special requirements of the fish appear when you make a bad decision, that could pop up as a logo of a plant. This one also requires more details - some plants are pretty safe while other plants may not be for herb species... It is an interesting thought though.
On the same line where it says tank size, filter size it should say temperature.I've added your species on my wishlist.
Not sure what you mean by "tank set-up section" though. Could you elaborate?
