Aquabid and viruses?

that was the only new site i visited recently, all the other frequently visited sites remained the same.. Email/AC/paypal (yes im that boring)

i also got a nasty virus last week and had to wipe my hard drive because of it. the night i got the virus i was on aquabid as well. i cant say for sure if that was the site that caused it but last night i set up my firewall and when i was on aquabid, it blocked a lot of sites from accessing my computer.

I ended up doing a search for this on Google and Aquabid's own forums (which is probably something I should've done in the first place...) and apparently it does have a history of recent virus/malware/etc problems.

I'm pretty sure the ads can be blamed for this, otherwise all visitors would experience these problems.

i have a fix.... download firefox add ad blocker plus and add the filter for the usa. i hardly ever see ads. when i go on other computers or have to use something like IE i look at sites and its so different. i didnt even know some of these sites had so many ads. lol
