LOL I'm totally confused now...
It's ok. They'll just rename it again next yr. And we'll all be confused again.
See I am not losing my mind!! I may just stuff it with scrubbies and when the day comes that it dies then may it rest in piece. I don't think I can get spare parts for somthing that no one, not even GOOGLE knows about.
Ok the dimensions: outside: 14"L X 9"T X 7"W including the lip overhang. Inside the sponge box is 9 3/4"L X 6 3/4D X 4"W. Those sponges would fit inside.
You are not delusional. I have one too that I got with a 40 gallon tall tank off of Craigslist for $20. Mine is also fully operational!
It is the equivalent to the current model 110 and takes the same media.
I emailed the company and asked. I'll go look for their email and post it here for you.
They told me they no longer manufacture parts for it which makes me think that some of the internals might be different than the 110 now.

It's not in my email box anymore. I found the one where I sent my question. It's dated Jan 24,2009. I think it took them a few days to respond but basically they said that parts were no longer available for it, it was equivalent to the 110 and took the same media.
The guy I got it from told me the tank was formerly a salt water set up and was set up about 10 years ago. I know nothing about salt water or whether it would be the correct type filter for salt. It was his son's tank and I don't think he knew much about it....but the 10 year comment might help date the filter.
I'm not using mine yet as I've not set up that tank yet but I do plan on using it for as long as it works.
