AquaClear changes all filter lines

If anyone does think GPH is constant I might suggest lowering you water level while you watch your filter output. you'll see the drop in flow very quickly. impeller pumps drop flow drastically with changes in input. we are after all dealing with a fan that creates water movement, not a positive displacement pump (and BTW positive displacement pumps drop flow at increased pressures as well).

Yes but of course GPH isn't constant...but it shouldn't be. All you really need is a ballpark estimate of what the filter will be pulling in normal operating conditions. Of course, this shouldn't even be the #1 thing you look at when deciding the filter you want to buy...we know this, don't we RTR?

You would be amazed at the stuff begginers pull off...let me think of some examples, (I've actually run across this stuff from customers at work.)

1 Oscar - 10G Tank
1 Puffer, 1 Scat - 10G Tank
1 Cichlid, (about the size of a Kenyi) - A FISH BOWL

and so on and so forth.
