What is that brown thing sitting on top of the driftwood? It looks like one of those reptile hiding logs.

Will if it's dead I would remove it since it's dead..

it's all brown,but there's some new green growing.Hopefully it grows more.

I would take it out as soon as you can. Those things are usually made out of Cedar wich isn't good for fish, especially CPDs.
