Aquapod. Any good?

I have to agree on the Nano skimmer. I kept checking it for the "muck" they claim it would catch... but all it ever caught was tank water... with bubbles.

Which leads me to my next topic. Does anyone else have a problem with their Aquapod blasting bubbles into the main tank?

I removed the Nano skimmer from my 12g Aquapod because I thought the micro bubbles it created were getting out of the skimmer and into my main tank. But even after I removed it, I noticed my tank was still getting thousands of little bubbles blasted into it. It seems that the water level in the last chamber (the one that holds the pump) gets so low that it starts to shoot bubbles into the tank. I *had* been able to compensate for this by keeping the water level at the very max. Problem with that is that come feeding time, food floating on the surface can overflow right into any of the chambers in the back, instead of going through the normal routing.

Tonight I did a water change and have filled the tank to the very max again, but I'm still getting bubbles!!!

Is there anyone out there that is having the same problem?!

AquaPod

Hi
I don't currently have an aquaPod but have looked into getting one.

At the LFS I was at said they wrap some type of floss around it to prevent the bubbles.
Don't know if that helps.

Wow spankey, i'm jealous! That is definetly one of the most beautiful nano's i have ever seen, im absolutely amazed, almost at a loss for words. You've done a helluva job!!! Keep it up
