Aquarium crack

I am planning on turning a 10g thats just sitting around the house into a shrimp tank, but as i was checking it over for scratches etc, i noticed a deep scratch in the bottom If you run your finger across the top you can feel it, but if you feel on the bottom of the aquarium, you can't feel it. so i guess its a scratch not a crack, but is this ok? Should i expect problems down the road?

Maybe, keep an eye on for a while if its deep.

I severly doubt it as long as it is properly supported. But 10 gal tanks are super cheap...just get a new one.

thanks guys. lol well considering im a high school student with no job...lol. It is on a base that is too big for it, so it should be properly supported. Thanks!

Probably wont have a problem. As rb said they are cheep, I think like $10 bucks at Walmart.

I wouldn't risk it for $10 bucks. If it was to crack the heater alone inside it failing would cost ya more than a new tank, and you wouldn't be worried about it.

There is a big difference in a scratch on a pice of1/8" glass and a scratch in 1/2" or 5/8" glass..
