I was wondering is their any way to make aquarium dividers? They have some at our pet store, but the sizes I need, they are charging $15 each for them.

Any help/advice is appreciated.

The dividers will be used to sep. angelfish pairs, and their fry!!

pick up a piece of acrylic from a hardware store.....cant say wether it will be cheaper than the store bought.....drill some holes for circulation....as long as they are small enough to not let the fry through.....can be painted if you need it to be painted.

How about those plastic meshes you can buy at Michaels or craft stores? They're the ones you pass yarn through with holes around 1/8 in^2 for crafts. They're 69cents for a sheet and you can sew 2-3 sheets together if its not big enough. Just an idea.

eggcrates or plexyglass. You can find then at lowes, ace or home depot.

I always used those report covers you see in walmart for kids projects.
You have to silicone the sides to your tank, but it works amazingly well
