Aquarium Glue

i don't know about that. many glues and caulks may contain chemicals to retard mildew. to me, if it says it's safe for food then it's safe for fish. there are caulks that say they're safe around food (like kitchen application).

silicone adhesive designed for aquariums is definitely OK, as long as it's dry before you put in water and fish. epoxy is used for aquaria, too.

GE Series I Indoor/Outdoor Silicone (which is about 3.50 for a big tube at Walmart) is safe for aquarium use. Make you get stuff that isn't already cured or mildew resistant (Series II is) because that has stuff that will harm the fishies. It is more of a sealant than an ahevesive, so whatever you use has to be porous. I tried to build a basking shelf for an RES with shelf brackets, suction cups, and a cutting board, and the stuff stuck like gangbusters to the brackets but not to anything else.

i know, i've seen that glue, too. it's in separate vessels that you mix underwater and they stick together. it seems weird, though, since it's a chemical reaction happening with your fish in there at the same time. but that's just me.

but anyway, it sounds like you just to glue ornaments together, so you won't have to worry about using it underwater :)
