Aquarium lighting question - what preference?

I've got to replace my strip light and i've been looking at different brands. Is there a preference between Current USA or Coralife? Which of the two would you recommend? This is for a planted freshwater tank.

I use a Coralife twin bulb T5 fixture and I love it. I've never used Current USA, but I'd recommend the Coralife for sure.

My Coralife PC fixture burned out on me with less than 2 years of use. I bought a replacement (same fixture) and it was a dud, failed in less than 2 weeks. Fortunately my LFS swapped it out for another fixture which has been fine since August. I will likely not purchase another Coralife fixture, I'll probably go with the ones from fishneedit.com or a Current fixture.

Whichever brand your go with, stick to T5HO. So many better choices for bulb selection and usually much better efficiency.

I'm using a fishneedit.com fixture myself and it works really well.

I might have the chance to pick up a Hagen GLO fixture (T5 HO 2x24). It's a bit more cost-wise... worth it?

my Coralife Aqualight Power Compact does great on my planted tank, I'd recommend it.

my Coralife CFL fixture does a great job at illuminating all of the way to the bottom of my tank, and i have a 37, which is nearly 2 feet deep.
