Random shots from the NY Aquarium.. dug this up from the archives and thought a few were worth posting.

Eh..duh..er..duh..

Blurry pipefish.

Could be a fish. Could also be a x-ray of my liver.

I'mmmm aaaa... starfishhhhh!

Weeeeee'reee... starfishhhhhhhh!

This is either a Bamboo Shark, or another type of fish. One of the two.

It's a jellyfish. Or again, could just be my liver.

The Tetras in the same tank don't seem to like this guy very much.

*shrugs* Sure is pretty though.

The fish up there is a Rhinopias species, whereas the bottom guy is some sort of enoplometopid "reef lobster." The latter may just be a leucistic individual--who knows. Great pics!
