Aquarium safe glue/adhesive

Does anyone know the specific brand, or specific name of a glue that is a aquarium safe?? I've had it with my plastic plants, so I want to sort of make my own. (the ones where the bottom is a clump of gravel). I was hoping to get some sort of adhesive safe for the tank and glue some gravel to the bottoms of the plants I have.

Hot glue, epoxy, or 100 % silcone (with no additives for mildew etc) are all ok to use.
 
Thanks, do you know if that can be purchased in a hardware store or something similiar?
 
Any home repair/hardware store should have the stuff, if using silcone just read it and make sure it DOESN'T say mildew proof etc.........
 
I was about to ask the same thing. I want to glue gravel to the bottom of my plastic plants to make re-decorating the aquarium after cleaning the gravel easier. I guess the best bet is buying a tube of aquarium sealant from a pet store : )

Costs too much get a tube of silcone (same stuff) from a hardware store..........A lot cheaper.
 
silcone or silicone?? Is that the same thing? I was hoping to get it from a hardware store just to save some money, I want to do what you plan acefred!! I hate having to rebury things, and I have a few decorations that I bought with the gravel bottoms and they were alot more expensive, but they are so much easier. Now, if I had the time or patience to deal with live plants I wouldn't have to worry about this, but thats a whole other idea...
