Aquarium Safety of UV reactive "cable sleeves"?

How safe would a product like this be if it was used to make air-line or CO2 tubes more interesting?

those cable sleeves are definitely safe, as they cover the tubing; they have no water contact.

However, I dont see how you'd get them to glow....I have UV reactive tubing in my computer and they need to be under a UV light to glow.

one would assume that he is going to put a UV light in his hood or something, with which to make them glow

I don't think I would put a UV lamp in the hood (that would be too much), but a UV lamp nearby for use when I when I wanted to display it to friends etc.

hehe, and I know "he" is generic, but I am actually a she. ^^
