Aquarium Stands

IIRC the Petco 40b stands are available in store only, and don't show up on their webpage. I do concur they're pretty well made, look nicer and sturdier then the dr fosters metal ones. I think I got the 29g one on sale for $40 and the 40 stand for $65.

Are you going to upgrade the lighting? If you decide not to upgrade the light, $99 it is a good price for the tank and hood. You can wait until Petco has another of their $1 per gallon sale (only the tank itself is on sale) but I do not think that is going to happen until fall.
Yep they are great stands plus do not cost over $70.
I probably wont upgrade lighting , we get pretty good natural light in my house anyways.
Yeah i heard about the $1 per gallon. But I couldnt find anywhere when the next sale is, it proably is in the fall though. It would be nice if the had it more often.
But that might work out, since I might end up getting a 100 gallon tub for my comet instead wich is much better for him.
