Aquarium updates

New "design plan" pictured below. Didn't raise the water level yet, on account of still removing/placing decor. I got one of those pieces of driftwood that you can insert plants in. I'm looking for some small fake bushes to place in two of the holes, but I can't find them in any of the petstores here (Central VA)! I don't know if the seaweed-type plant was a good addition or not; I'll have to sleep on it. Also, I was tempted to remove the barrels, but the betta loves it so much that I didn't have the heart. Comments, please

why is the water so low? maybe you should get some more caves if it really likes the barrels.

Thank you! Nope, nothing in the tank (except the fish) is real. I got the foxtail plant (I think that's what the red one is called) from Petsmart. I was thinking of getting another, but I'm afraid there won't be any room for them to swim around once I get the cories. Does anyone have any suggestions as to where I can find small bush/shrub-like plants?
