aquariumplants.com?

if you pay extra for express shipping there is NO excuse. Keep us posted on whether they refund the difference in shipping, if not then I will never order from them as im sure others wont either.

Thats a bit harsh, if they don't have the plants would you rather they ship you some hornwort instead of the B. japonica you ordered? I have ordered from them in the past and all plants arrived in great shape, great quantities, and snail-free.

My advice is to call them, I have called them in the past with various questions and they answered everything over the phone.

I placed two orders with them. The first order was somewhat okay. I was able to get plants that I couldn't get locally, but they were all balled together in this huge mess of newspaper. The order was packaged well since I paid extra in case of bad weather. They didn't ship when expected and I, too, didn't get an e mail or call or anything.

My second order was HORRIBLE! I thought I was ordering with the appropriate shipping for insurance, but I was mistaken. It changes with the seasons. I live in Chicago, IL, and my order of plants came in a plain thin box. In that box was what would be equated to a lunch baggie with all of the plants jammed in. $100 worth of plants and the only thing that was alive was the java moss.

When I called the guy kind of laughed and goes "Lady don't you know it's winter in Chicago? HA HA HA!"

Sure but at least TRY to package the plants so they can arrive okay, or call and delay shipment like www.thatfishplace.com.

I would never order from them again. JMO

Looks like they put Turface Athletics Products in a bucket and call it there own special plant substrate..

if you paid for fast shipping, I would get you r money back. I bought from these guys in the past and had a great experience. I bought about $100 in pants and they have groen so well that I have been able to plant all my other tanks from them. Very good stock!

I personally would not do business with them again. The best plants I have ever received for my tanks were from msjinkzd right here on AC.

BayleesFishees.com/store looks to be a place worth checking out. i have never personally tried him but he has auctions up on aquabid all the time and his feedback is flawless, 1,411 positive to 0 negative.
although i have never bought from him, it seems like an alternative worth checking out

btw, i would buy from msjinkzd or somebody else on the forum before buying from other places, just because i trust her and know that she has great plants and superb customer service. i have gotten plants from her before and they were all packaged with great care and detail, and the plants were magnificent.

its not harsh, they should be able to tell you right away if they can ship a plant priority or not before you pay money to do so. if not if they are out of stock then they should credit you the difference in shipping.

While the OP did pay for express shipping, they didn't pay for express processing. Two separate things that people get confused a lot.

If the store had shipped the order using anything less than 2 day shipping, then OP has every right to be upset and a refund would not be out of the question.

In this case, the store is having problems getting their inventory. Processing problem, not shipping.

IMHO, the correct thing the store should have done was contact the buyer immediately upon noticing the item was out of stock.

In this economy they should do the very best to please customers. Obviously they don't need the business so anyone reading this - go elsewhere JMO
