High light will promote compact and bushy growth. (along with CO2, of course)

Looks good...I am planning something like that (with a 10 gallon I found on the street) for a betta. How are your P. kuhli doing in a 10gallon?

@huapala My kuhli's are doing good, although I think they'd appreciate a bigger tank. I've had kuhli's in a 29, and in a 55, and temporarily in a 75. They always use all the space when they are zipping around everywhere. Swimming up and down the full height, and left to right the full length. However, they seem to be "happy" as I have all the plants and driftwood to hide/play in. They are out and about 90% of the time.

Awesome of you to get a 10 gallon for a betta. They really do use all the space and seem to have more personality when they have more space to swim out and about. :)

@Lady K- I didn't even think to check the dollar store!
