For 2018, the Aquatic Experience will be coming to the New York area (Secaucus NJ to be precise)

    http://aquaticexperience.org/

This may be closer for a bunch of people.. But I wholeheartedly can recommend anyone that has the ability to go, to go give it a try, maybe hang out with a few aquarists after hours too.

For anyone interested, there's a Shrimp show, live aquascapiung competition, and a Cichlid show also... I believe I have seen mention of a Betta show also.

I will mostly be at the Shrimp Competition, and likely with the AGA for a decent amount of time... and wandering around grabbing free t-shirts too.

I don't see a reason that AC/MFK/MAN could not get a booth, unless it's too late.. so.. staff members, take a look at https://www.wwpia.org/i4a/forms/index.cfm?id=631 and make it happen ;)

Hope I see some folks there!

I might come up for one day, maybe Sat? Hotel prices are too ridiculous @ $164 a night and that was the discounted rate (which expired), normal price is like $350!

Do it... You will be glad you did, if you want to try a hotel, look around the area there are a few bargains

But I imagine Saturday will be the best day, without looking at the list of speakers.

Sunday would be better if you wanted to buy display models of aquariums though!

    Hope I see you there.

Saturday will be great---planted tanks will all be finished and on display (and up for voting for people choice!!), plus anyone selling stuff will likely still have everything in stock, and the shrimp will all be there to see as well.
