if Amazon was the seller of the one you bought for a hundred less than a week ago, you could have had them simply refund the difference. They have done that for me before.
UPS is claiming mine was delivered last night, but it never showed up. Amazon is setting up a replacement while the other is being located..
Interesting. I had a lady from 3 blocks away just deliver my package. UPS decided to simply just drop it anywhere..
Ugh that would have made my day. I should've checked this too as I just mailed it about ten mins after you typed that up. The funny thing is since I returned it because of a better price and not a defect they said they would take about 12 bucks out of my refund for shipping which means if I had called and got the difference refunded I would only be getting 4 bucks less than I'm getting on the return. LMFAO even when something awesome there's always something I do to not make it as good as it could have been XD I can't complain though, I got a great deal. Just funny that for literally 4 dollars I could've had another one

Got home and got one setup on my 55 gallon. I'm very happy with it. I need to get some bio media for it. The instructions are more or less worthless. I got a bit confused about priming it, but filled the can with water then put it back together and it primed with one push of the button. Very glad I was able to get in on the deal. My second one will be a back up or possibly used on a future tank I'm planning.
I'm guessing so, given his previous post about dishonesty...
At first I was bummed to miss this deal, but then when I reflected further I realized that I have intentionally gotten rid of all my canisters one by one, where now I am left with only a Cascade 500 (which has a flaw - this keeps me from selling it, which is why I still have it). That will eventually quit and then I will just move away from canisters all together. HOBs are just so much easier, I don't really have a good setup to lug a big heavy jug of dirty water that is larger than the sink and rinse out a bunch of media without creating a big mess. Perhaps one day I'll have a better outside setup, such as a deck or porch, but in the meantime it's not very convenient rinsing out a canister over the lawn. Perhaps if I had a bathtub that wasn't already full of fish junk?
The shower isn't ideal, since the showerhead is stationary. So anyhow, enjoy everyone
The first thing I did when I walked back in the house was cancel the pending replacement.
I'm not sure if the water flow is adjustable but I don't see how it could hurt to have a good size filter for a little tank. Well if I do install it I'm going to have one clean looking 10g.
