Aqueon heater

Are Aqueon heaters any good?

I have always purchased Visi-Therm and Eheim. About 2 years ago i purchased about 4 Aqueon heaters and too my surprise they have performed extremely well, absolutely no problems definitely a heater I would buy and recommend. I mentioned it to another fish owner and they said the exact same thing about there Aqueon.

i use the new style jager and never had a problem. i can't speak to aqueon, sorry.

I'm using 5 aqueon heaters, (3 on my 125, 1 on my 55, 1 on my 37) and have yet to have a problem with them. My 55 and 37 have been running them for over a year, and they've run pretty reliably.

I have been very pleased with the Aqueon Pro heaters. I purchased one of the regular Aqueon heaters. It had problems and I had to return it. I have 4 Jagers. one of them is 7 degrees below the furtherest adjustment of the adjusting ring.

I've had a couple of the glass ones, and had one fail completely, the other seems to work but the light on it went extremely dim but it still keeps the temp.

I just bought a 300 watt aqueon on sale for$23 to keep as a backup. But I was a little hesitant when the LFS clerk said - "keep your receipt for the lifetime warranty". "Just keep it she said again". Hmmmmmm

I have a Aqueon Pro in my 60g and I love it! It stands up to my turtles constant battering.
