Arcadia 'I' Bar

Hope everyone had a good Christmas!

Now, to business. I received an Arcadia I bar lighting system (with 2 24w T5s)for my Rekord 96 for xmas. It is brilliant and already I can see my plants growing better! However, it hangs quite ;low over the tank so I have had to refuce water depth by about 1.5". Any ideas as to how I could safely 'heighten' the tank - the I bar simply rests on top of the glass.

put something on the ends so it rest on it and not the tank. i would leave it. the closer you have it the more light the plants get unless your worried fish might splash on it.

I think I might leave it actually. it just looks a little strange, but i suppose that will change once my plants arrive and grow. Also I was a little concerned about my angelfish. he's only around 4" high ATM, but the water depth (excluding gravel) is now only around 10/11". But i'll cross that bridge when I get to it.
