Archer fish tank mates.

I've seen Archers do really well with scats and monos. I've seen some munch on rosy reds and guppies, but they seem to prefer crickets, bloodworms and brine shrimp. I bet they'd do really well with sleeper gobies (although I'm not sure how brackish these guys like to go).

yeah, my line of thought was that the archers generally seem to hover below the wate surface like an arowana, whereas the bbgs pretty much stick to the bottom half of the tank, so maybe there wouldn't be an issue...anyone with experience in this combination?

I unsuccessfully kept BBG's and archers. Archers eat insects, and BBG's look like wasps/bees was my reasoning.

Archers do great with any bottom dweller that they won't be able to eat (and vice versa).
