Nothing special for the eggs. You just wait. My 2-3 pairs of assassins laid over 120 eggs so far and continuing until now.

I disagree that they won't eat their own kind if they are hungry enough. I don't believe they will do so if there is other food available, but I've received and sent shipments out that turned up with empty shells. I wasn't sure about the ones I received, but I know for certain I didn't send out any empty shells.
