So I have have an odd question, I recently went back to wearing acrylic nails and it's got me wondering since I've constantly got my hands in the tank do you think there's any problem (like chemicals) for the water quality?

I hope acrylic isn't bad for fish...

LOL:raspberry: I was thinkin more along the lines of glues and chemicals....maybe I'm just paranoid

You should be worried about what that stuff does to you!

I wouldnt worry about the nails so much once they have cured as what might be under your nails.

speaking from expeirence i co-run a pet store and my hands are costently in fish tanks and iv worn acrylic nails plenty of times and one time iv broken off some of my nail in the tank agaisnst some rocks and iv watched a fish eat my nail and nothing happend and pieace's of my nail polish has come off and fish aet it so i wouldn't worrie about it lol

acrylic nail adhesive is superglue by any other name. Marine people use superglue to adhere fragments all of the time. I wouldn't worry about it, unless they are uncured when you put them in the tank, and I don't think that's too likely.

Sweet, thanks for the feedback, I figured it wasn't a prob just wanted some more opinions to ease my mind.
