i recently saw a video of a very nice brackish tank that my buddy showed to me and in the tank there was a golden wonder kill fish with the other brackish fish. i always thought they were fresh water i used to own one, but i was wondering if anyone has any idea if these people just added the fish in and just let it shock its liver or if its actually a brackish water fish?

I have read that they can do well in both fresh and brackish water.
Have not kept them myself though.

Lives in streams and reservoirs at high altitudes, and in rivers, wells of the plains, low-lying paddy fields, swamps and brackish waters

Can probably tolerate low-end brackish conditions.
