Just wanted to know how easy it is to breed Green Cory Cats. I've read somewhere it was hard. Mine won't stop breeding, almost since day one non-stop. =p I've got babies of all sizes and several of each size. It's great! They love my 90g, kinda makes me wonder if I should not sell the tank...lol.

That is fantastic!!! :hi: :worthy::worthy:

I have no idea about if they are difficult breeders or not--but I love to hear stories about fish really liking their homes!!! It means that you are doing something that they really like!!!!

I wouldn't say mine breed like crazy...but almost like crazy!!! LOL.
I have to scrape off my eggs though or they eat them! I put them into another a tank and they hatch. Last time I thought for sure it was my sterbai cories...I swear I saw them laying eggs...but the ones I got are green!! Darn it...I love em though...they are so cute!!!

Yeah, most cories breed pretty easily. I have 3 albinos and I have seen at least 3 clutches of eggs in the last year. I haven't tried moving them to another tank and raising them yet. They (or some other fish) just eat the eggs, and then a while later, I find some more!

The conditions don't seem to matter that much either. I know for a fact that my water is nowhere near "perfect" (or even acceptable, in some cases) according to aquarists standards, but they still do it.

I can find eggs nearly any week in the 90g. The next morning after I moved 2 adults and a juvie to my 40breeder, I had eggs all over. But my Rams never seen eggs before and found them to be a tasty snack.
