Are harlequin rasboras nippy?

I would like to add to the harlies and I've been looking for glowlights forever but lately every fish store around me has been carrying less then healthy stock. Now that I think about it I haven't even seen harlies lately anywhere. I got the harlies and that one glowlight from a tank I bought over a year ago. I really don't like sponges over my intake tubes, just prevents a great deal of poody from being sucked up.

ASFAIK rasboras don't have teeth in their jaws, rather pharangeal (sp? throat) teeth, so they really can't be as nippy as tetras (or bettas) with teeth in the front of their mouths. That is 1 of many reasons I'm a rasbora fan...& they're pretty! I'm sorry your betta's fins look chewed but I doubt it's the rasboras. Maybe you can try cutting back the filter's flow. Keep his water very clean & he should heal fast.
